NAEA Conference: Day 2

Another inspiring day at the NAEA Conference!  Let's see... where do I begin... How about at the Metropolitan Museum of Art?!  I spent the morning viewing the collections at the Met, in particular the 19th Century European Paintings and Sculptures, as well as the Contemporary Artwork.

This is what the Metropolitan Museum of Art looks like from the front entrance.  It is a grand building in the heart of Manhattan.  This photograph does not do it justice, since the building is much larger than what is captured in the picture.

I use to come to the Met quite often.  I would climb the staircase to the second floor and make a left to enter the 19th Century Paintings wing.  I retraced those familiar steps today...

...and found myself in front of my favorite painting in the whole museum.
